Vitamin D (Derrick Brown) Seattle’s Vitamin D (born Derrick Brown) began toying with music production at the tender age of 11. After several years of honing his talents, Derrick began working in the Pharmacy studio in the legendary OK Hotel among ghosts of Seattle musicians past (Nirvana and Soundgarden performed here) and soon was producing records for artists like Gift of Gab of Blackalicious for his 2004 debut, Fourth Dimensional Rocketships Going Up, as well as Stuck Records’ Boom Bap Project. With releases on respected labels like Quannum, Epitaph, Rhymesayers Entertainment, Interscope and Def Jam, Derrick continues to build a prolific discography. Derrick met up with Crossfader’s Darek Mazzone in his Pharmacy studio to discuss his endless work ethic, delectable production equipment, creative process, involvement in the Red Bull Big Tune event, and advice for new producers.

But then Sülo arrives and praises Juliette highly because of her recommondation and buys more of it. “not so bad my pharmacy, say?” . After that Kerstin is more friendly whereas Heidi makes some smart remarks. Juliette suggest showing Kerstin the mysteries of chocolate spices and flavors…instantly ( “Heidi can do the shop” “what?!”). Juliette says that it is just a matter of the right mixture of spices. Most of the spices and ingredients Juliette shows Kerstin have an aphrodisiac-like impact. Kerstin cooks (with a little help of Juliette) a meal for Raul with said spices. Juliette refuses to test the meal and leaves the moment Kerstin has finished preparing. Raul is busy at “Daily´s” because there on waiter short. When Kerstin calls he only leaves because she talks of an emergency. When he arrives and gets what the “emergency” is, he´s annoyed and leaves instantly. Kerstin is stunned.
